Hindu Wedding package:
Overview
Traditional Hindu wedding
Only a few months of the year—mid-January to mid-March, mid-April to mid-June, and mid-November to mid-December—see the big celebration that is Nepal’s traditional Hindu wedding rites. Hindu marriages, which are highly revered as sacraments, are performed in compliance with the VEDAS, the religion’s sacred texts that go back thousands of years. The bride and groom circle the sacred fire seven times throughout the ceremony, which takes place outside under a mandap, or canopy, making it one of the most unique features of Hindu weddings. The ceremony is conducted by the priest. Because the groom’s party is anticipated to congregate in a procession to the wedding location, it is advantageous to have a convenient meeting point nearby.
Based on the positions of the stars, astrologers determine the best times for marriage. The bride and groom perform the Puja and get blessings and well wishes from friends and family during the elaborate Nepali wedding ritual. Twinkling lights and vibrant paper flowers adorn the wedding location.
A Nepalese bride wears the customary bridal color of red and is decked up in gold and precious jewels. Usually, the bride and groom are escorted to the wedding venue. In a village, the pair enters on horseback or with baskets, whereas in a city, they arrive in a decorated car. Music is essential to marriages. The Nepali people play Pachai Baja and other well-known folk songs because they believe that doing so strengthens the nuptial tie and pleases God.
