The 2015 Gorkha earthquake had a devastating impact on the Langtang region, with many families losing loved ones to earthquakes and avalanches. However, thanks to local and governmental reconstruction work, trekking is now entirely secure, and Langtang is prepared to receive visitors. This area is blessed by nature because it has several glaciers, offers breathtaking views of the vast Himalayan range from Langtang to Ganesh Himal, and offers many chances for excursions to high-altitude lakes like Gosaikunda and Dudh Kunda, to mention a few.
