GuesthouseTrip Introduction of 9 Days Langtang Valley Trek
Join us for a 9-day trek in the Langtang Valley and discover the amazing beauty and culture of the Himalayas. We start our journey in Kathmandu and drive to Syabrubesi, which is at an altitude of 1,460 meters (4,790 feet). From there, we begin to climb through beautiful forests filled with rhododendron and bamboo. The path takes us to Lama Hotel (2,470m/8,104ft), where we see the beautiful views of the valley for the first time. As we go higher, we arrive at Langtang Village (3,430m/11,253ft), which was rebuilt after the 2015 earthquake. The village has traditional stone houses that show Tamang culture. The main part of our trip is Kyanjin Gompa (3,870m/12,697ft), where old Buddhist monasteries sit near tall snow-covered mountains like Langtang Lirung (7,227m/23,711ft). We spend a day getting used to the place and looking around, including a trip to the nearby cheese factory. The best part of the hike is the tough but rewarding climb to Tsergo Ri (4,984m/16,351ft), where you can see a 360-degree view of the Langtang mountain range. During our trip, we walk over suspension bridges, see waterfalls, and watch how the valley recovered from natural disasters. The way down leads us through lovely villages before we go back to Kathmandu.
What makes this hike special: Moderate difficulty that is good for most fitness levels. The highest point is 4,984 meters (16,351 feet) at Tsergo Ri. Meeting and connecting with Tamang and Tibetan communities. Beautiful views of huge ice formations and tall mountains. Not as busy as the Everest or Annapurna paths.
