Drinking water facilities
We will provide you safe drinking water during the trekking. The packaged drinking water and bottled mineral water are easily available in restaurants, cafes, and hotels in Nepal.
During the trekking, the water prices vary depending on the altitude. You have pay more for the water the higher your elevation. It costs around 100 to 400 per liter on average. TIMS – You can obtain TIMS permit from Nepal Tourism Board which is situated in Kathmandu or from a registered trekking agency of Nepal. This permit requires almost all areas of trekking in Nepal.
The cost of TIMS permit is approx $20 (2500-2700 NPR) USD for foreign nationals and $10 USD for SAARC nation people. The permits have a validity of 2 months. However, Nepalese do not have to pay for TIMS permit.
