Many people have the dream of seeing Mount Everest up close and making it to its Base Camp, but not everyone enjoys the difficult hike to the base camp of the 8,848-meter (29,029-foot) tallest mountain in the world. Everest is a worthwhile trek, but those who lack the time or desire for the arduous trip can still enjoy the experience. Our Everest Helicopter Tour offers a breathtaking view of the nearby hundreds of snow-capped Himalayan mountains.
You will fly over the Everest base camp and the magnificent Himalayan mountain range on Everest Summit Treks and Expedition, Everest Heli trip. You will then land at the well-known Kalapatthar viewpoint, which is 5,545 meters above sea level. This breathtaking spot, which is at the foot of the world’s highest mountain, is genuinely unique.
We take off from the domestic airport in Kathmandu at six in the morning. We begin with a view of the Kathmandu Valley and the hills that surround it, and then we fly east toward the Everest region, taking in views of mountains like Dorje Lakpa, Langtang, and Ganesh Himal. Gaurishankar, Makalu, Lhotse, Nuptse, Langsisa, Cho Oyu, Mount Everest, Mt. Plumori, the Kubu Ice Falls, etc. In order to take pictures at this great height with breathtaking peaks in the background, we will fly over Everest base camp and land briefly on Kalapather viewpoint. We then take a plane back, enjoying the view of numerous mountains, including Everest (8,848m), Amadablam (6,812m), Thamserku (6,623m), Khumbila (5,761m), and Kwangde (6,011m). The entire scene is captivating as the mountains are illuminated by the golden beams of the early morning sun. In order to reach the Everest View Hotel, which is the highest height and the greatest spot for breakfast while taking in views of Everest and the surrounding peaks, we will make a stop at Syangboche Airport. We eat breakfast and then take a plane back to Kathmandu. Three hours will be the whole flight time (Everest Heli tour), plus additional time for breakfast, photography, mountain watching, etc., for a total of almost four hours.
The itinerary is as follows: Kathmandu to LUKLA to MT. Everest Base Camp, Kalapatthar to Syangboche Everest View Hotel (breakfast), etc.

Day 1: Arrive at Tribhuwan International Airport, Kathmandu (1350m)
Our office staff will wait to pick you up and have a car ready when you arrive at the Kathmandu airport. As soon as you see them, they will welcome you and extend the traditional Nepalese hospitality. Afterward, they will drive you to the Thamel, Kathmandu, at your reserved hotel room.

Lukla (2,860m) to Kathmandu (1,350m)
You will be taken from the hotel early in the morning and dropped off at the airport in Kathmandu. After boarding the helicopter, you will start the journey to Lukla.
Please keep in mind that since this is a mountain helicopter tour, weather-related delays or even flight cancellations are possible.

Refueling in Lukla (2,860m)
As soon as you step onto the helicopter, the trip to Lukla will commence. On the journey to Lukla, you will get a view of the Kathmandu Valley from the top of the helicopter.. Keep an eye out for the numerous snow-capped mountains, hills, and rivers along the route.
It will take forty-five minutes to go from Kathmandu to Lukla. A brief refueling break will be made in Lukla. The Nepalese district of Solukhumbu contains the little town of Lukla. It is well-known for having the shortest airport runway and serving as the starting point for the Everest Base Camp Trek.
Following refueling, Kala Patthar and Everest Base Camp will be overflewn as part of the excursion.

It will be an exciting helicopter journey from Lukla. The captivating vistas of the verdant hills, rivers, and Khumbu Glacier will astound you.
