3 Star HotelTrip Introduction of Mardi Himal & Annapurna Base Camp Trek 15 Day
The Annapurna region’s two stunning hikes are combined in the Mardi Himal & Annapurna Base Camps Trek. The routes go to Mardi Himal Base Camp (4,500m/14,763ft) and Annapurna Base Camp (ABC), passing through several climatic zones, unique landscapes, and traditional settlements (4,130m / 13,550ft). You will see a number of snow-capped mountains along the way, such as Fishtail, Dhaulagiri, Hiunchuli, Annapurna Massif, Tilicho, Pisang, and Pungda Danda. While Mardi Himal Base Camp hikes are less frequently visited, Annapurna Base Camp treks are well-liked.
The Mardi Himal & Annapurna Base Camps Trek combines well-known Himalayan locations with off-the-beaten-path adventure. The paths form the core of the trip, connecting two unique geographical elements of the Annapurna region. The region’s many ecosystems are demonstrated by high alpine meadows, deep woods, and glacier-ringed vistas, while an exposed walk along the Mardi Himal ridgeline offers stunning up-close views of Machhapuchare. From the hospitable subtropical zones to the bleak, breathtaking alpine settings over 4,000 m, every step opens up a new world.
This incredible journey is laid out in the itinerary, which starts with a picturesque drive from Kathmandu to Pokhara, the entry point to Nepal’s captivating highlands. Moving through rhododendron forests and terraced slopes with ancient towns that exude warmth and authenticity, the journey continues near Dhampus and Deurali, where the trek officially begins.
As the trail ascends past Forest Camp and High Camp (3,600 m), the landscape transforms into alpine grandeur, with breathtaking views of the Annapurna Range, Dhaulagiri, and Machhapuchare (Fishtail). A magnificent daybreak from High Camp illuminates the beautiful peaks, casting golden hues across the strong Himalayas before reaching Mardi Himal Base Camp (4,500 m).
A new rhythm is introduced as you descend toward Low Camp and Jhinu Danda, where trails wind through lush valleys and riverfront settlements. Through the crossing of Chhomrong, this adventure is connected to the classic Annapurna Base Camp Trek.
The route ascends from Bamboo and Deurali and continues deeper into the Annapurna Sanctuary, where the 4,130-meter-high Annapurna Base Camp is a stunning amphitheater of Himalayan giants. This revered and breathtaking site, surrounded by majestic snow-capped peaks, is a monument to the majesty of nature.
After arriving at the Annapurna Base Camp, the last descent begins via Bamboo to Jhinu Danda, where, following days of hiking, natural hot springs offer a tranquil haven. This incredible journey ends with a picturesque drive from Siwa/Ghandruk Phedi to Pokhara and then back to Kathmandu.
The Mardi Himal & Annapurna Base Camps Trek is a trip that perfectly combines peaceful comfort with genuine Himalayan adventure. The memories created on this adventure will be treasured for a lifetime thanks to a blend of serene routes, exciting cultural experiences, and breathtaking scenery.
