Short Gokyo Ri Trek 11 Days

We begin with a 30-minute flight to Lukla, taken after by a 4-5 hour walk to Phakding. From Lukla, we journey to Chaurikharka village and descend to Dudh Koshi Ghat (2,530m). After crossing the Dudh Koshi Waterway and trekking through gorgeous scenes, you may reach Phakding (2,660m). The short and refreshing day permits you to acclimatize at an expanded altitude. Phakding is the starting point for the Everest journey, and it has everything from adapt and lodging shops to cafes and restaurants. In your spare time, you’ll be able visit the famous Rimishung Monastery.

A full day of trekking starts as we climb along the Dudh Koshi River banks crossing a few suspension bridges decorated with prayer flags. The thrilling yet marvelous way will make your journey very delightful. After walking for a couple of hours, you’ll reach Monjo Village. Small ahead lies Sagarmatha National Park, where we register our allow and climb up the woodland. From here, you may be able to get your to begin with glimpses of Mount Everest. Through the woods and stone-paved way, you’ll finally reach Namche Bazaar, where you may rest for the night.

Today, you will be exploring the town. Namche has many sites to enjoy, like the Everest Photo Gallery and the Sherpa Culture Museum. The town also hosts a local handicrafts market. You can also hike on over to the famous Everest View Hotel today. It is one of the highest-located Hotels in the world and presents views of Mount Everest and many of its peaks from all of its windows. On the way back, you can also visit the Syangboche airport that is situated just above the town. It also presents quite marvelous views of the Himalayas and of Namche below as well.

Today is day 5th of our tour and we have to hike for 5 hours to reach our destination, Dole. It is a small tiny village located in the region of Khumbu. The place has an altitude of 4200 meters.

After taking a delicious morning meal, our trek will starts. Throughout our hiking, we’ll see beautiful scenery, remarkable landscapes, flowing water from Dudhkoshi, flora & fauna. Additionally, we also able to witness the remarkable views of AmaDablam and other peaks. More and more, one will be overjoyed by seeing the monasteries which tell about the history of Sherpa and Buddhism religion.

Perhaps many of you won’t hear about Machhermo. It is an exquisite town located in the embrace of the Himalayas. It lies in the Khumbu region of the east part of Nepal. What I am saying that we have to hike to Machhermo today.

After taking a morning meal, you’ll start our sixth- day tour. The day ahead will be challenging yet exhilarating for you. You’ll have to ascend upwards, but ultimately, you’ll see the scenic views of Cho Oyu, Cholatse, and several other mountains. After walking for approximately 5-6 hours, we’ll be at Machhermo. We’ll have an overnight stay and share dining with fellow trekkers.

We are on the 6th day of our journey. Today, we’ll ascend 4750 meters upwards. After having a delicious breakfast, our journey will continue by following the trails.

Throughout today’s journey, we’ll pass through a wooden bridge. Upon that, we’ll see the elegant waterfall and witness the settlements like Dhole and Luza. Lately, we’ll push via rocky terrain before seeing the beautiful Ngozumpa glacier. Further our trek will continue tomorrow. Today, we have an overnight stay at a lodge or tea house.

Today we will be having an adventurous and amazing day. Today, we’ll visit GokyoRi, which has an altitude of 5,350 meters. The duration from Gokyo Lake will be around four hours.

We’ll hike up the steep path and see the spectacular sunrise from the Himalayas. After reaching there, we’ll stay for some time and take pictures to make our trip unforgettable. When you are at 5,483 meters, you’ll be able to see some other spectacular mountains of Nepal, which include Mount Everest, Cho Oyu, Lhotse, Aba Dablam, and Makalu. Lately, we’ll visit the fifth lake, which is considered the best freshwater lake in the world. Eventually, we’ll return to our Gokyo Lodge.

After an energizing journey to Gokyo Lakes, it is time to return. We offered farewell to Gokyo Town and journey back to Phortse, past the thick timberlands full of rhododendrons blooming and fowls flying concurring to season.

The descent is simpler. So inside a day, we are going cover a separate that took us two days during the ascent. As you walk back, you may be thinking back around different sights and spots that you passed before. We gradually lose the see of the Himalayas, but the ambiance is such lovely and pure that you will appreciate our walk to the fullest.

As we conclude our journey to Gokyo Lakes, we head back to Namche from Phortse. You may be walking past the dense timberlands alive with animals like musk deer and mountain goats. The path back is steep downhill, and your pace increases. From the path, you may appreciate the final views of Mount Everest while offering farewell to the journey region. You may be resting at Namche on this day.

Eventually, we are wrapping up our 10-day Short Gokyo Lake Trek.Today, we will return to Lukla. After having a quick and delicious breakfast, we have to head towards Lukla.

We’ll have to walk approximately 7 hours. However, we have to cover approximately 18 kilometres of distance by walking. We’ll start at the elevation of 3,440 meters, and it will end at 2,860 meters.

Throughout the walk, you’l0 again admire beautiful valleys, sky-touching mountains, Dudhkoshi valley, rhododendron forests, and many more. After reaching Lukla, you may strol0 around the place, which is near your lodges. After having a meal, we’l0 be ready for tomorrow’s early morning flight

We are on the 10th day as per our itinerary. After a quick breakfast, we’ll take a morning flight to Kathmandu from Lukla. After flying for 30 minutes, we’ll reach to Kathmandu. Again, our representative, will pick you up and drop you at the hotel. Today you can relax and rest. You may also have a chance to explore Kathmandu on a day tour. You may be able to visit UNESCO sites like Pashupatinath, SwayambhuNath, and Krishna Temple. When the lights are on, you may visit the exotic and vibrant Thamel Market. It provides you with a remarkable atmosphere with a wide range of restaurants, cafés and nightlife. Today, we’ll serve you special ThakaliKhana which includes: Rice, Lentils, Vegetables (Seasonal), Curd, Spinach, Mutton/Fish/Chicken and Nepali Pickle.
